Testing for- sodium in the catalyze Hypothesis- if you add more salt, then the disk will rise faster. Procedure: We added .1 grams, .5 grams, 1 gram, 5 grams, and 10 grams of salt to 50 mL of catalyze. Then we dropped a paper disc in and we timed it from when it hit the bottom to when it floated back up to the top again. Conclusion: The more salt that was in the catalyze the longer it took the paper disc to rise to the top.
